The Johnson Alice Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of homelessness by providing compassionate, personalized support to individuals and families in crisis. We believe that a safe, stable home is the foundation upon which all other life goals are built.
We are a team of social workers, case managers, and community advocates who work side-by-side with those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Inspired by the success of evidence-based housing-first models—which have helped over 90% of participants exit homelessness into stable housing—we meet people where they are, without judgment, and walk with them every step of the way toward independence.
Our services bridge the critical gap between crisis and stability. We offer:
- Emergency shelter placement for immediate safety.
- Transitional housing with longer-term stays and structured support.
- Permanent housing navigation to help secure affordable, long-term homes.
- Wraparound services including mental health counseling, employment training, benefits enrollment, and life skills coaching.
We don’t just provide a roof we provide a pathway. Every individual who comes to us receives a tailored action plan developed with their dedicated case manager. We address the root causes of homelessness while empowering our clients with the tools, confidence, and resources they need to sustain their housing and thrive.
